Kendall Jenner xx Marc Jacobs

Marc Jacobs is my all time favorite designer... I have loved his intricacies and unique style for longer than I can imagine. In fact, his relatively new make up line has be completely obsessed. To make it even better, this season he chose Kendall Jenner (a young Kardashian) to walk on the runway at New York Fashion Week. Kendall is ON FIRE. I will admit, I love the Kardashians. Say what you will but they're my muse (whether it's guilty or not). Kendall took on a whole new look though. Her eyebrows are bleached and she wore a wig for the show. This young model also showed off the goods with an extremely sheer top leaving close to nothing to the imagination. That's high fashion- taking risks and finding beauty in the most interesting of pieces. Marc Jacobs is not afraid to make a statement. I can't wait to see more of his collection for this season, and look for more updates on my blog as I find them!!

RED

Happy snow day everyone! I can imagine everyone is dreading going to school tomorrow as much as I am... With tomorrow being the most romantic day of the year, I wanted to hit you all with some RED. Normally, I am a huge fan of "all black everything" because I'm convinced that's just one of the many endearing qualities of being a "bad bitch". Well this bad bitch just happens to like bright colors as well. I chose to pair my bright red, textured, skater skirt from H&M with a fur vest and long sleeved crisp white crop top to go out for dinner. I love to dress up, so if I'm going out at night I just assume to go for it! Red lips might not land you any kisses, but they'll boost your confidence and show that you aren't afraid to be the "baddest". Those of you who love fur (faux of course!) feel free to comment below and show off your style!

Men in the Fashion World

Hello everyone! So, I really feel like men can get left behind in the Fashion World and because of this, I wanted to make it a point early on to show that guys can be just as fashionable as us girls. Above is my boyfriend, who in the spirit of Valentine's Day, did me a solid, and posed for our purposes! The look he's wearing is 100% classic. Seven jeans do not go out of style... Accents like the cuffed legs, corduroy shoulder pads, and suede Clark's pull this outfit together. Personally, I think when it comes to men, a pair of dark jeans and a fitted shirt will always make them look and feel put together. It's the patterns you choose and what you use to accessorize that sets the outfit apart!

P.S.- I do not recommend wearing your suede shoes in the snow for more than the purpose of a picture!! (boys...)

Local Arm Candy

Featured above are some of my favorite accessories for men and women. To make it even better they are locally made right here in Little Rhody! The rope bracelets you see are made by Lemon & Line. Started in 2010, L&L uses basic and clean styles to give a nautical look to anyone! Most of their bracelets are knotted rope with a metal clasp, as they've expanded though they've managed to satisfy many more styles to Rhode Islanders to make us feel like its summer all year long.
Next, is my charmed arm courtesy of my all time favorite jewelry company Alex and Ani. A&A has created an empire with their simple charm bangles. Rhode Island girls have taken to wearing their hearts on their sleeves (literally) by stacking bangles according to their personalities. And the trend has spread! All over the East Coast, Alex and Ani stores are popping up with new styles including wraps, beaded bangles, even necklaces and earrings. From spikes to sparkles Alex and Ani can satisfy any woman (or man) and that's what keeps their momentum going. Let's hear it for RI jewelry making a name for itself!!
